The first few weeks decide how a move is remembered. Some unsettlement is normal, and it is not a sign the decision was wrong.
In the first month
Agree a visiting rhythm, and stick to it
Tell staff the small things: how they take their tea, what unsettles them
Good staff will ask you for that detail without being prompted. If nobody asks, that is worth noticing.
Give it time

Familiar things do more for settling than anything new you could buy.
